Susan grew up in a small town north of Toronto and began painting and sketching at a very early age. Much of those early years were spent exploring the countryside and village she grew up in. Her experiences of adventure and freedom were so inspiring that her love for small town life and the land has never left her.

Victorian scenes of skaters bathed in moonlight, or a horse drawn wagon in a quaint little village will quickly take you back to a kinder, gentler place and time and even tug at your heartstrings.

Inspiration comes from the everyday, local architecture, landscape and the unsung heroes, our small towns with a rich history and stories yet to be told.

Susan lives with her husband in their country home in the Hockley Highlands.
